Your personal data is processed by the usorit team, hereinafter referred to as the controller.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect personal data only when you submit a message through the contact form on our website. The data collected includes:

• Name — so we can address you personally;
• Email address — to reply to your enquiry;
• Company (optional) — to understand the context of your request;
• Message — the content of your enquiry.

We do not collect special category data within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

Data submitted through the contact form is processed for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and, where applicable, entering into a contractual relationship. The legal basis for processing is:

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing is necessary to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests of the controller in responding to incoming enquiries and conducting its business, to the extent that such interests are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights of the data subject.

4. Retention period

Data collected through the contact form is retained for a maximum of 3 years from the date of last interaction, unless a contractual relationship is established, in which case the retention period is extended in accordance with applicable legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting legislation).

Upon expiry of the retention period, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Recipients of personal data

We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be accessed by:

• Our internal team, to the extent necessary for handling enquiries;
• Technical service providers (e.g. hosting, email services), acting as processors and processing data exclusively on our instructions and subject to adequate safeguards;
• Public authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) without adequate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

• Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — you may object to processing based on the legitimate interests of the controller;
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — you have the right to contact the Romanian supervisory authority, Autoritatea Nationala de Supraveghere a Prelucrarii Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), at B-dul G-ral.
